Apple launched update for iOS 8.1

This afternoon, in US, Apple launched new update for iOS 8.1. This new update has open the new function, Apple Pay system. This new system can simplify the payment procession by the NFC and Touch ID function. In US, there will be over 220 thousand retailers will support this Apple Pay system.

Of course, except this Apple Pay function, this update has resolve some bugs and add some other new features.

First, it adds the Beta edition Gallery. Second, iPhone users can send or receive text by iPad or Mac. Third, it has restore the problem that Voiceover can not match with keyboard from 3rd party. Forth, user can select 2G, 3G or LTE network. Fifth, restore the problem that iPhone can not connect with bluetooth handfree set in some case.

Sony launched new smart watch

This morning, Sony launched a new smart watch, it owns one 1.6 inch screen, screen resolution is 320*320 pixels. Its looks is just like other smart watches in market, but it has more colors available.

This Smart Watch 3 adopts the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, RAM is 512M, flash memory space is 4GB. Battery capacity is 420mah. Compared with other smart watches, it has not advantage. As our news, this Smart Watch 3 will be sold at 250 US dollars.

Recently, there will be some news products displayed on Google Play, and this Sony Smart Watch 3 will be one of them. But some other news says this unit will be launched together with the new Android Wear OS. But now, in Spain, ontablets.es has already shown this unit on website.

NEC launched a new 2 in 1 tablet

NEC, one company from Japan, launched a 2 in 1 tablet pc, named Navie U. This unit adopts the latest Intel Core M processor which adopts the latest 14nm process technology. It owns one 11.6 inch IPS screen, resolution is 1920*1080 pixels.

Of course, as a 2 in 1 tablet, the keyboard can be removed from the unit, and works as a laptop PC or tablet. But this Navie U may be only for sale in Japan, and people from other countries can not buy it.

Except the good CPU, this unit owns one 4GB RAM and 128GB flash memory, supports HDMI, bluetooth, USB3.0 and WIFI. There are dual cameras as well, but resolution is unknown for now. As what NEC told, the battery life of this unit can be 8.5 hours. High performance, and it also looks very slim.

As Intel launched the Core M processor, now many suppliers starts launch new tablets with Core M processor. Maybe soon, we can see the Core M ages.

8.9 inch tablet Windows, Chuwi V89

Following the Chuwi V10HD 3G which is one 10.1 inch 3G tablet with Windows 8.1 OS, recently, Ontablets disclosed one new Chuwi tablet with Windows OS, Chuwi V89. Though, there is very little information about it, as we know, this unit will be quite cheap.

This Chuwi V89 adopts the original Samsung 8.9 inch IPS screen. Resolution is 1920*1200 pixels. PPI is 225. And the screen adopts the OGS technology to improve the operation experience.

CPU is the Intel Bay Trail Entry series, frequency can be 1.83GHz. Performance is enhanced by 30%. It comes with the 7th generation Intel HD Graphics. Image quality has been enhanced by 200%. And most 3D games can be run on this unit.

Regarding the operation system, unit runs official Windows 8.1 OS. It can be upgraded automatically, you will not receive notice to update the OS. More important, it can be compatible with most Windows software for PC. So, no matter entertainment, jobs can be done on this tablet.

ASUS Zenwatch will be launched soon

In the IFA 2014 trade show hold in German, ASUS has already shown this Zenwatch smart watch in the show. This unit is quite slim, and looks quite fashion. Its price is about 260 US dollars, that is quite a good price. But ASUS will only supply 300 pieces of first batch.

Why ASUS only supply 300 pieces? There are many rumors. Some people said it may be the production capacity. Other people said, it may because ASUS doesn’t want to launch this unit so fast. Anyhow, ASUS did not make an explanation.

This Zenwatch owns one 1.63 inch screen. Resolution is 320*320 pixels. There is one layer of 3rd generation Gorilla to protect the screen. RAM is 512MB. And flash memory is 4GB. CPU is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. The operation is customized ZenUI which is based on Android Wear OS.

The first 300 pieces will be for sale in Taiwan. ASUS did not tell when it will launch this unit worldwide.

News about Lenovo Yoga tablet 2

Latest news from ontablets.es, Lenovo is scheduled to launch its latest tablet, Yoga Tablet 2 in Oct 9th.

As information from Lenovo official site, new Yoga tablet 2 has several edition, except the 8 inch and 10 inch edition, there is one 13 inch edition, named Yoga Tablet 2 Pro. Three units are all running Android OS. Except the Android OS, Yoga Tablet 2 has two Windows OS edition, coming with 8 inch and 13 inch screen size.

This morning, one blog about tablets has also disclosed the picture of Yoga Tablet 2 with Windows OS. From the picture, we can see it looks quite similar as the old ones. There is one Windows logo on the body of unit.

New Yoga Tablet 2 will come with one bracket, dual cameras, and support HDMI and Micro SD card slot. Regarding its detail information, like CPU, RAM and flash memory, is unknown for now.

Why 64 bit processor is better?

HTC launched its latest product HTC Desire 510 several weeks before. It is the first unit adopting Qualcomm 64 bit Snapdragon 410 processor. As it is available, people starts to be interested in the 64 bit Snapdragon 615 and 410 quad core processor. So what is the difference with 32 bit processor on earth?

Till now, there are over 1 billion smart phone android coming with Qualcomm processor. As 4G LTE network is popular in worldwide, Qualcomm launched its 4th generation processor. It has included Snapdragon 400 to Snapdragon 200 series. Except 4G LTE network, it can also support 2G and 3G networks.

Most users don’t know the difference between 64 bit and 32 bit processors. The newly launched Snapdragon 615 can support 64 bit. It is used to match the 64 bit Android L operation system when new OS is popular.

New smart watch from LG

Today, there is one new product from LG on ontablets.es. The model number is VC100. It is one smart watch which can support 3G network. It may be a new product of LG G Watch series or a new series. From the picture, we can see its size is a bit smaller than Samsung Gear S.

As the latest news from Tabletofgps, Verizon will become the first supplier of this LG VC100 smart watch. That means this VC100 can support Verizon 3G network. We know LG has launched several smart watches, but different with others, this VC100 does not need to pair with your smart phone to make call or answer calls. As estimation, this new product will be available for sale at the end of this year or early of next year at soonest.

New Android devices will be installed 20 apps from Google
